Abstract
|

|
This paper is an attempt to present the current issues and future direction of Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program in Korea. We need to follow conditions for development and fixing of Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program.
1) perform of Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program with a differential role´s establishment.
2) nursing manpower training of a good quality and strict management of qualification
3) use preceptor for clinical practice
4) union of qualification permission and autonomy applyment through Nursing committee
5) develop policy about position and baste salary in organization
6) advertize to other medical staff and lay persons
7) establish policy for the standard of geriatric nurse practitioner
8) support legal regulation on Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program
We need necessary to Nursing guild´s trial with supporting the government for positioning in important core, developing curriculum for higher educational level of Geriatric nurse practitioner, collaborating medicine worker et al.
